E.T. scares me

I caught the end of E.T. on TV the other day. I remember going to the cinema with my dad to watch it when I was a kid and I had to be taken out because I was screaming!

















I love it as a film now though - the storyline, the BMXs, the music - all just exceptional. But there are still bits that freak me out slightly. Mainly the scene at the beginning when he's walking through the farmyard in the mist! Well eerie. My brother had a picture book that contained that image that he used to slide under the bathroom door when I was in the bath...and I would go nuts.

Also, the bit when he comes out of the wardrobe wearing an old woman's wig. Man, that is some dark shit for sure. The finger glowing and all that stuff I was totally cool with, although the other bit that made me lose a bit of sleep was when he goes all white when he's ill.

I found this photo the other day too and I have to say that I'm really not happy about a few of them, namely matey in the top row on the left and also middle row in the middle. Freakshows.
