I'm sure these spots will open up the usual 'wack attack randomness for the sake of it' or 'creative brilliance' debate about Mother's work. I personally think they're both great, leaning more towards Rubberduckzilla...but which ever camp you're in, one thing you can't accuse Mother of is executing first thoughts.
