Penzance Promenade Panoramic

I've just been down to see my mum in Penzance, and whilst there I got to see what my new camera (LX5) was capable of. Here's a little panoramic shot from the promenade (click for full screen). Batten down your hatches folk, there's a storm a-brewin'!

Virtual DJ saved my life

Back in the day, in deepest darkest Cornwall, I used to do a bit of mixing like. It was kind of an obsession for a few years, but as you do, I lost interest. However there's a great programme for Macs called 'Virtual DJ' that seems to be very simple to use. I've got a couple of days off now, so might even try and lay down some mixes. F-F-FRESH!!!

Rubbishcorp

Just a quick mention of Rubbishcorp blog. What I love about this blog is that it's run by a guy called Nathan, a CD at Anomaly London, who most definitely talks the talk and walks the walk.

Too many people in this industry simply just talk about doing great stuff, well this guy not only keeps us up to date with all the latest cool shit, he's also out there making lots of great stuff of his own. And it's all of a consistently high quality. Muchos kudos.

Anyway, that's all I wanted to say really. Rubbishcorp is good, which is why it's been my homepage for the past 6 months.

Skating and Hermes???

One of the strangest executions tonally I've ever seen. My mum wears Hermes, yet they've chosen fingerboarding as the film?! Very odd, but I guess that's what makes it different. And they kind of pull it off:

I used to be well into fingerboarding at school...must've had one confiscated every week!

Proxy Mines!!!

This is a pretty sweet online app that allows you to plant proxy mines on any websites you want, then blow up you mates.

Love the fact that they've simply taken one of the best bits from Goldeneye on the N64, the proxy mines, and made it feel lovely and modern 10 years on to advertise the new Wii version.

Check it...http://proxymines.com/

Annoyingly, I'm locked out of Facebook at the moment so can't try it properly. Anyway, muchos kudos as usual to Droga5.
